daughter number two.  the middle child.

the opposite of my firstborn.  each in their own uniqueness, they’re still obviously sisters.

she’s such a card, has such strong characteristics, and demonstrates them with such drama.  :)   i love the way she is able to share so much of herself in everything she does.  her zest and passion in life will carry her far.

she loves her sisters to pieces, and can’t seem to let go of her baby sisters hand most days.  as cute as it is, baby does have some reservations about it at times, and lets her know!  :)

her oldest sister and her play very well together, even tho she doesn’t always follow instructions in their playing roles designated by  oldest sister like she’s supposed to.  she unknowingly encourages her sister out of their steriotypical birthorder roles/behavior, by not playing by all the rules.  as much as she demonstrates confidence in who she is, she is still learning how to act/react at times, or whether she should participate in situations.  she won’t smile just because she should, won’t play just because everyone else is playing, and won’t obey just for the sake of obeying.  she needs more time to wrap herself around each situation to be able to fully be in the moment.  she can be gently encouraged to participate in things, but sometimes needs more space and time before she will join in.  she loves being home, and won’t let mom drag her out to just any function.  she enjoys consistancy and needs warning when things will change.

she’s a cuddlebug, and can usually be found on daddy’s lap after work.  she is always willing to give expressions of love, but especially when the idea was hers first.  she will randomly make “i love you” comments throughout the day.  she is honest with her feelings, and will speek truth easily.

here’s a few of the many things i love about her and hope they never change:

  • her genuine expression of love
  • her desire to express herself in every situation
  • her ability to make others smile and laugh
  • her desire to be unique
  • her love for her sisters
  • her kisses and hugs
  • her ability to participate from the heart
  • and for breaking a few molds in life, but not so much as to cause too much disturbance.

we love you girl, and pray that you will allow God to mold your behaviors and personalities into characteristics of a beautiful woman!
